My first visit to Blenheim palace. Stopped in the Pantry at opening time for a hot chocolate. £3.40 and relatively small mug, also just out of a machine- not very impressed. Popped in again around midday for some lunch. Opted for the box salad (quiche, coleslaw, potatoes, salad) ticket price marked at around £7 but young girl.on desk tried to charge more, when I queried and showed her ticket price she admended it-which was fine. Very nice boxed lunch salad.

Was impressed with this cafe, it was well maintained and had a brilliant range of cakes, light lunches and hot and cold drinks. The cakes were delicious and the sandwiche I had was fresh. The only downside is that when I went back in later in the day a lot of stuff had sold out.

Nice cafe serving drinks and some basic food like scones and cakes. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. It can get busy in the peak summer. They don’t seem to mind you eating your homemade sandwiches if you buy a drink here.

Went later than normal lunch so wasn't so packed and sat in the undercover corridoor just outside the giftshop entrance. It was quite cold out in the courtyard and indoors seemed a bit chaotic with lots of staff clearing tables and kids running around. The ordering line blocks the view of the cakes so you need to be in the line to see them, but it moves so slowly and you can't get a good look at everything all at once which made me bounce between decisions a lot. The location of the clean trays didn't make sense and I had to leave my spot in the line to pick one up. Others in the queue didn't mind though so I was able to jump back in, but not before another couple hijacked my empty space to get the till operator to fix their order which had something wrong with it, leaving me standing there a little awkwardly holding an empty tray for a while. With my poor eyesight I couldn't make out the small writing on the menu which was way back behind the till and everything turned out to be quite pricey but that was expected. Ordered a carrot and walnut cake, sausage roll, and a latte. My coffee was excellent, though I had to stand there with a loaded tray waiting for it as it was the slowest moving part of the process with only a single barista and machine. The susage roll was still hot and really tasty, and the cake was fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful.
